Living Waters is a Christ-centered discipleship/ministry program for people seeking healing in areas of sexual and relational brokenness including codependency, pornography addiction, promiscuity, homosexuality, sexual ambivalence, childhood sexual abuse, transgender issues, difficulty in establishing and sustaining intimacy in relationships, and more.

Meetings are held every Monday night at The Fisherman’s Net Church in Utica.  The program runs for twenty-three weeks, and includes worship, a large group teaching time, and small group ministry with an emphasis on healing prayer.  Discounts are available for early registration.

The Place is an eight-week discipleship program covering the topic of Overcoming Childhood Wounds.  The Place will be fashioned after the Living Waters program, discussing issues related to the effects of wounds and abuse in childhood and how to begin the process of healing.
The program will be held at Maple Grove Church in Lapeer, every Saturday morning from 9:00-12:00, starting in September.  Pre-registration is required.  For more information contact Ken or Barb Patriquin at 810-705-1381. 

          WALKING FREE   Bible Study and Support Group for Men
Reconciliation Ministries will be holding biweekly Bible Studies for men interested in sexual and relational wholeness.  This meeting is great for those just beginning to walk in freedom, and for alumni of Reconciliation Ministries programs who are interested in accountability.  The group now meets on the second and fourth Sunday evening of each month.  Upcoming meetings will be September 12th and 26th at Zion Christian Church, 3668 Livernois in Troy from 6 - 8 pm.  The meeting will be held in room 106.  For more information call 586.739.5114.

Walking Free for Women will be on hiatus while Living Waters is in session.  Look for this group to return in March 2011.

Healing Hearts, is a confidential Christian support group for parents and families of those struggling with homosexuality.  The next meeting will be held at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Bloomfield Hills on Sunday, September 19th at 2:00 PM.  Cross of Christ is located at 1100 Lone Pine Road, on the northwest corner of Telegraph and Lone Pine Road (17 Mile Road).  For more information call Scott and Edie Duggan at 586.775.0504.

Dan Hitz will be joining the Desert Stream Ministries team in September 2010 as they bring the Living Waters Leadership Training to Thailand. Thailand is a country with many challenges including legalized prostitution, rampant homosexuality, a transgender medical trade, and childhood sex slavery.  This is an opportunity to help equip the people of Thailand to run Living Waters programs in their communities and set many hurting people free.  We value your prayers for this training which will involve ministry team members and participants from many countries all over the world.
